Amazon MGM (AMZN) has greenlight a TV series adaptation of Bethesda’s (MSFT) “Wolfenstein” video game franchise, Variety’s Joe Otterson reports. Television writer and creator Patrick Somerville, who worked an shows such as “The Leftovers,” “Maniac,” and “Station Eleven,” is attached to serve as the series’ creator, writer, executive producer, and showrunner, while James Altman of Keyframe Films and Jerk Gustafsson of “Wolfenstein” developer MachineGames will also serve as executive producers on the project, the author says.
