Amazon (AMZN) said it reached an agreement with the U.S. Postal Service will result in the ecommerce giant using USPS for over 1B annual package deliveries, or roughly 80% of its existing business, Reuters’ David Shepardson reports, citing sources. “We’re pleased to have reached a new agreement with USPS that furthers our longstanding partnership and will let us continue supporting our customers and communities together,” Amazon said. Shares of UPS (UPS) and FedEx (FDX) are lower in afternoon trading.
