BofA says Amazon’s (AMZN) annual AWS re:Invent event keynote supports the firm’s thesis of continued investments in AI infrastructures, with “generally positive implications” for most semis exposed including Nvidia (NVDA), Astera Labs (ALAB), Marvell (MRVL), Credo Technology (CRDO) and AMD (AMD). Astera “needlessly came under pressure” due to mistaken views around content in the Trainium 4 program, while Marvell appears to be engaged in Amazon’s 3nm Trainium 3 and 2nm Trainium 4 programs, the analyst added in the event recap.
