Anthropic, an AI start-up that is backed by Amazon (AMZN), announced in a post to its corporate site: “You can now use Claude to search the internet to provide more up-to-date and relevant responses. With web search, Claude has access to the latest events and information, boosting its accuracy on tasks that benefit from the most recent data.” Anthropic’s Claude AI services compete with rivals that include Microsoft (MSFT), OpenAI, Google’s (GOOGL) Gemini products, and Meta (META).
