Amazon has deployed more than one million robots in its facilities, which is near the count of human workers, Sebastian Herrera of The Wall Street Journal reporst. Metallic arms pluck items from shelves, wheeled droids ferry goods for packaging, and automated systems help sort items. Now, 75% of Amazon’s global deliveries are assisted in some way by robotics.
