Amazon has acquired autonomous robotics startup Rivr in a deal that could help the commerce and logistics giant deliver packages to shoppers’ doors more efficiently, an Amazon spokesperson confirmed to The Information. Based in Zurich, Rivr was valued at $110M in an August 2024 funding round in which Amazon and Jeff Bezos’ Bezos Expeditions participated, the report noted.
