Alkermes (ALKS) announced that Richard Pops will retire from his role as CEO, effective July 31. Alkermes’ Board of Directors appointed Blair Jackson, Alkermes’ current Executive Vice President, COO, as the company’s next CEO, effective August 1. Jackson is also expected to join the Board at that time. Following the transition, Pops will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board and will act as an advisor to the company’s executive team.
