UBS analyst Atul Maheswari assumed coverage of Alaska Air (ALK) with a Neutral rating and $49 price target Given that demand likely stabilized as the quarter progressed, the firm sees in-line Q2 EPS as likely, but thinks the focus of investors will be on its Q3 and FY25 outlooks, especially given the “sizeable” miss on forward guidance last quarter, the analyst noted. The firm’s FY25 EPS estimate is $3.26, which compares to the Factset consensus of $3.43, the analyst added.
