Wizz Air (WZZZY) is looking to defer around 100 Airbus SE (EADSY) aircraft into the next decade, Kate Duffy and Siddharth Philip of Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the discussions. The planes were set to be delivered by 2030, but Wizz now wants them to be delivered in the next decade, the sources added. Chief Financial Officer Ian Malin recently said the deal with Airbus was weeks from completion, one source added.
