Airbus (EADSY) is “cautiously hopeful” it can hit its 2025 target of 820 deliveries despite bottlenecks that have led to 40 completed airframes parked at factories waiting for engines, Tim Hepher of Reuters reports, citing comments made by Christian Scherer, CEO of its core planemaking business. While overall supply chains have “improved,” bottlenecks remain in the supply of CFM engines for single-aisle and cabin interiors for wide-body jets, Scherer added.
