AIG (AIG) announced that Scott Hallworth will be joining AIG as chief digital officer, effective September 1. In this role, Hallworth will be responsible for leading AIG’s digital, data and GenAI strategy, with a focus on continuing to drive enterprise-wide standards and scaling GenAI across the company. Hallworth will join AIG on September 1 and will become a member of AIG’s executive leadership team. He will be based in New York and will report to Claude Wade, executive VP, chief digital officer and global head of business operations and claims until the end of the year. At that time, Wade will step down from his current responsibilities to address ongoing health issues and will transition to an advisory role. Beginning January 1, 2026, Hallworth will report directly to Peter Zaffino, chairman and CEO, AIG.
