AMG has acquired an additional minority equity interest in Garda Capital Partners, a liquid alternatives manager specializing in fixed income relative value strategies, and an AMG Affiliate since 2019. Garda’s assets under management increased to over $12B since the inception of the partnership with AMG in 2019. Following the transaction, AMG remains a minority investor in Garda and will continue to account for the investment under the equity method. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
