AeroVironment’s (AVAV) Tomahawk product line has been awarded a $5.1M contract to support the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office’s Human-Machine Integrated Formations rapid prototyping project. AV’s Tomahawk Grip TA5 was selected as the Dismounted Common Controller to enhance human-machine teaming for battlefield operations. The initiative aims to integrate autonomous and robotic systems into formations.
