AeroVironment (AVAV), in partnership with Arkeus, unveiled the new Arkeus Hyperspectral Optical Radar, or HSOR, payload for its Group 3 JUMP 20 unmanned autonomous system. The company stated the HSOR-equipped JUMP 20 redefines autonomous Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance missions. The HSOR payload utilizes hyperspectral imaging to analyze materials’ unique spectral “fingerprint,” enabling rapid environmental analysis in congested and degraded visual conditions.
