Japanese advertising firm Dentsu (DNTUF) is evaluating the sale of its international business, a move that would end it ambitions to compete globally against WPP (WPP) and Publicis (PUBGY), the Financial Times’ Daniel Thomas, Leo Lewis and Harry Dempsey report, citing three people with knowledge of the situation. The company has enlisted Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley and Nomura Securities to explore possible buyers for its international advertising division in a deal that could raise several billion dollars.
