Adobe (ADBE) is close to acquiring Semrush (SEMR) in a roughly $1.9B deal, offering $12 per share, well above Semrush’s Tuesday’s $6.76 close, according to people familiar with the talks, The Wall Street Journal’s Lauren Thomas reports. An agreement could be reached as early as Wednesday, though negotiations may still fall through.
