Stifel lowered the firm’s price target on A.O. Smith (AOS) to $75 from $84 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm, which is assuming U.S. trade policy leads to a modest industrial recession in the second half of 2025 through the first half of 2026, adds that a weaker China economy “creates the biggest risk for A.O. Smith.”
