Tata Consultancy Services and AMD Team Up to Help Companies Scale AI

Tata Consultancy Services Limited (IN:TCS) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) ai-driven-transformation">announced a new partnership focused on helping firms turn AI tests into real use. The two firms said the goal is to help clients move past small pilots and into full rollout. In simple terms, many firms try AI but fail to make it work at scale. This deal aims to close that gap with clearer tools and support.

At the core, TCS brings its skill in large tech projects, while AMD adds fast chips and systems. Together, they plan to build ready AI setups for fields like health care, factories, and banks. As a result, firms may spend less time testing ideas and more time using AI in daily work.

Meanwhile, AMD shares rose an impressive 6.39% on Tuesday, closing at $220.97.

Focus on Chips, Cloud, and Skills

Under the deal, TCS will use AMD chips across office tools, cloud systems, and data centers. At the same time, AMD hardware will support AI use at the edge, such as in plants and smart devices. This mix is meant to help firms run AI where the data lives, not just in the cloud.

In addition, both firms plan to invest in people. TCS will train and certify more staff on AMD systems. Over time, this could help speed up AI rollouts and reduce project risk for clients.

The timing also matters. TCS recently said its AI work brings in about $1.8 billion a year, with growth of 17.3% from the prior quarter. Against that backdrop, the AMD partnership adds more scale and reach. For investors, the deal signals steady demand for AI tools that move from talk to action.

Is AMD Stock a Buy, Sell, or Hold?

On the Street, Advanced Micro Devices holds a Strong Buy consensus rating, with an average AMD stock price target of $284.23. This implies a 28.63% upside from the current price.
