U.S. stock futures inched higher on Tuesday night as investors awaited the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision set for Wednesday afternoon. Futures on the Nasdaq 100 (NDX), the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), and the S&P 500 (SPX) were up 0.06%, 0.01%, and 0.03%, respectively, at 8:14 p.m. EST, June 17.

All major indexes ended Tuesday’s regular session in red territory as the Israel-Iran conflict drags into its fifth day. The S&P 500 declined 0.84%, the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.91%, and the Dow Jones shed 0.70%.
Stocks slipped ahead of the Federal Reserve’s rate decision, set for Wednesday afternoon. While the central bank is expected to keep rates unchanged, investors will closely watch Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s remarks after the meeting.
