The modest movement followed a quiet day on Wall Street, as investors focused on ongoing trade talks between the U.S. and China, including rare earth exports and the potential easing of U.S. tech restrictions. The discussions are set to resume Tuesday morning.
During Monday’s regular trading session, the S&P 500 rose nearly 0.1%, marking its second straight day of gains. The Dow closed just below the flatline, while the Nasdaq Composite (NDAQ) inched up by about 0.3%.
