Market sentiment got a boost by President Donald Trump’s announcement on Truth Social about a trade agreement with Vietnam. This positive news partially offset the impact of a disappointing report from ADP (ADP), which indicated a decrease of 33,000 private-sector jobs last month.

In Wednesday’s trading, the S&P 500 climbed 0.47% to close at a new record high, also reaching a fresh intraday peak. Also, the Nasdaq Composite surged 0.94% to a record close. However, the Dow Jones was down 0.02%.
