Analysts have become more optimistic about Rocket Lab (RKLB) after the aerospace company delivered strong third-quarter results. Indeed, five-star Needham analyst Ryan Koontz raised his price target from $55 to $63 while keeping a Buy rating after revenue came in 2% higher than expected. Separately, Stifel, led by five-star-rated Erik Rasmussen, lifted its price target from $65 to $75 and maintained its Buy rating. Stifel said that Rocket Lab beat expectations for both revenue and margins in Q3, and its guidance for Q4 points to even faster growth. The firm also noted that Rocket Lab now plans to have its Neutron rocket on the launch pad in the first quarter of 2026. While this is a later timeline than before, Stifel believes that it reflects a smarter focus on doing things right rather than rushing.
In addition, Roth Capital analyst Sujeeva De Silva increased the firm’s price target to $75 from $60 and kept a Buy rating. The five-star analyst pointed out that Rocket Lab showed stronger profit margins and continues to grow its order backlog. He added that recent government issues, like a possible shutdown, had little impact on the company. As a result, Roth believes that Rocket Lab is still very involved in government programs, which should help support future growth.
