The grant will be processed through The Giving Block, a crypto donation platform that turns digital gifts into fiat when needed. The point? Avoiding price volatility and regulatory potholes.
Ripple’s senior VP of strategic initiatives, Eric van Miltenburg, told CoinTelegraph this setup offers “transparency and efficiency” while helping nonprofits get familiar with onchain giving.
In other words, Ripple isn’t just donating. It’s onboarding the education sector into Web3. Brad Garlinghouse didn’t hold back either, saying Ripple hopes the move inspires others to help “students and teachers build a stronger future.”
XRP’s Price Stays Quiet—but Influence Grows
Ripple’s good deed hasn’t sent XRP to the moon—yet. At the time of writing, XRP is trading around $0.52, with price action staying modest. But while the chart’s flat, the narrative is anything but.
