David Hynes has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to Zeta’s operational execution, strategic positioning, and valuation. He notes that 2026 has begun strongly for Zeta, with early share price appreciation supported by positive feedback from events like CES, where management reinforced relationships with key agency holding company partners. He highlights the newly announced collaboration with OpenAI as a meaningful strategic step, positioning Zeta’s Athena platform to benefit from early access to advanced AI models and reinforcing Zeta’s status as an innovator in AI-driven marketing. In his view, the existing guidance for 2026 appears prudent, which reduces downside risk heading into upcoming earnings updates.

In addition, Hynes emphasizes that Zeta’s shares still trade at what he considers attractive multiples relative to the company’s prospects, with EV/Revenue and EV/EBITDA levels that look modest for a business growing organically at more than 20% while improving margins. Recent discussions with senior executives suggest to him that underlying business momentum remains robust, reinforcing confidence in continued growth. He also points to early customer feedback on the Athena product—such as TKO Group’s comments on major productivity gains and faster insights—as tangible evidence of the platform’s value proposition. Taken together, strong growth, improving profitability, favorable risk-reward, and validation of Zeta’s AI strategy underpin his decision to maintain a Buy rating and a $30 price target.

In another report released today, Needham also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $25.00 price target.
