Shrenik Kothari has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors including Check Point’s impressive financial performance in the third quarter of 2025. The company reported a significant increase in billings, with a year-over-year growth of 20%, marking the highest in over a decade. This growth was supported by strong subscription traction in areas like SASE, email, and external-risk, all of which saw growth exceeding 40% year-over-year. Additionally, Check Point’s revenue and earnings per share surpassed expectations, leading to an upward revision of the full-year revenue guidance.
Furthermore, the company’s management expressed confidence in maintaining sustainable annual recurring revenue momentum and highlighted the durability of their sales pipeline as they head into fiscal year 2026. Despite challenging comparisons for the fourth quarter, the visibility in billings and the potential for cross-selling and ongoing refresh cycles contribute to a positive outlook. The valuation remains attractive, with additional growth opportunities from AI, SASE, and federal sectors, reinforcing the Buy recommendation.
In another report released today, TD Cowen also reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a $285.00 price target.
