Giada Cabrino has given her Buy rating due to a combination of factors that highlight Leone Film Group SpA’s strategic financial maneuvers and potential for future growth. Despite the moderate performance in the first half of 2025, the company has initiated a significant operation by partially selling its ‘non-current’ film library. This move is expected to enhance the company’s financial structure and provide capital to focus more on production activities.
Additionally, the joint venture with Vice Picture is a strategic partnership that aims to optimize the use of older film assets through improved secondary distribution strategies. This collaboration not only strengthens Leone Film Group’s financial position but also positions the newly formed company as a potential hub for national and international audiovisual libraries, potentially boosting future revenues. Although short-term sales and profitability estimates have been revised downwards, the long-term outlook remains positive, justifying the Buy rating.
