Joanna Gajuk has given her Buy rating due to a combination of factors that suggest potential growth for Service International. Despite a decline in visitations during the first quarter, particularly in January and February, there was a notable rebound in March, with daily visits increasing by 10% month-over-month, outperforming historical trends. This improvement is a positive indicator, especially as it aligns with the recovery in areas like Rose Hills, which experienced a significant increase in foot traffic.
Additionally, Gajuk sees promising prospects for Service International in 2025, driven by the company’s new insurance contract and the growth of preneed cemetery services. These elements are expected to provide tailwinds for the company’s performance. Furthermore, the company’s stock price objective of $98.00 USD, compared to the current price of $75.07 USD, suggests significant upside potential, reinforcing the Buy recommendation.
In another report released on April 8, Oppenheimer also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $92.00 price target.
