Wamsi Mohan has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors that underscore Dell’s resilience and long‑term earnings power. While surging memory prices are set to pressure margins and EPS in F27, he argues that Dell’s proven supply chain discipline, operating expense control, alternative sourcing, and strategic pricing should soften the theoretical impact on profitability.
He also highlights that infrastructure solutions margins are supported by mission‑critical enterprise demand and less elastic customers, while client solutions can use pricing and configuration levers to offset cost pressures. Coupled with early but growing benefits from enterprise AI, upcoming AI PCs, and increased monetization of Dell’s proprietary storage IP, he sees enough structural growth and margin durability to justify a Buy rating and a $135 price objective despite near‑term memory headwinds.
In another report released today, TipRanks – Google also upgraded the stock to a Buy with a $134.00 price target.
