Travis Steed has given his Hold rating due to a combination of factors, most notably that his updated model for Becton Dickinson’s restated revenue does not change his existing earnings forecasts. The company’s recent 8-K filing altered how revenue will be reported, but the underlying financial outlook, in his view, remains essentially the same as before.
With the stock trading slightly above his price objective of $207, he sees limited near-term upside from current levels, which supports a Neutral stance rather than a more bullish call. In addition, leverage remains meaningful, as reflected in the company’s net debt to equity, reinforcing his view that the shares are fairly valued at this time and warrant a Hold rating rather than a Buy or Sell.
In another report released on January 31, TipRanks – xAI also reiterated a Hold rating on the stock with a $218.00 price target.
