George Staphos has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors including Ball Corp’s reaffirmation of its earnings growth guidance and the strategic appointment of Daniel Rabbitt as interim CFO. Despite the unexpected departure of CFO Howard Yu, the company has maintained its projected EPS growth of 11-14%, which signals confidence in its financial stability and operational continuity.
Furthermore, the appointment of Mr. Rabbitt, who has extensive experience within Ball and a background in corporate planning and development, suggests a continued focus on operational excellence. Staphos believes that the company’s decision to uphold its guidance and the smooth transition in leadership are positive indicators that support the Buy rating, with a price objective set at 67.00 USD, reflecting potential upside from the current price.
In another report released on May 7, Mizuho Securities also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $60.00 price target.
BALL’s price has also changed moderately for the past six months – from $61.860 to $53.320, which is a -13.81% drop .
