Analyst Maintains Hold on Sprout as Strong Large-Customer and AI Momentum Offset by Soft SMB Demand and CFO Transition Risks

William Blair analyst Arjun Bhatia has reiterated their neutral stance on SPT stock, giving a Hold rating today.

Meet Samuel – Your Personal Investing Prophet

Arjun Bhatia has given his Hold rating due to a combination of factors that balance solid execution with lingering uncertainties. Sprout delivered slightly better-than-expected growth and profitability, driven by strong momentum in larger customers and early traction from Trellis AI, which should support long-term monetization and platform value.

At the same time, demand among smaller customers remains soft, and management’s outlook assumes this subdued environment persists, limiting near-term acceleration. While full-year revenue guidance was nudged higher and margin targets were reiterated, some of the margin upside was timing-related, and an upcoming CFO transition adds an element of execution risk, leading Bhatia to stay on the sidelines with a Hold.

According to TipRanks, Bhatia is an analyst with an average return of -2.7% and a 40.12% success rate. Bhatia covers the Technology sector, focusing on stocks such as Atlassian, Twilio, and Sprout Social.

In another report released today, Morgan Stanley also maintained a Hold rating on the stock with a $10.00 price target.
