The company’s Legal & Compliance team was recognized as “Legal Team of the Year — E-Commerce” at the 15th LegalEra Indian Legal Awards 2025–26, underscoring Zepto’s emphasis on risk management and regulatory robustness as it scales.

Operationally, Zepto continued to expand its Zepto Sankalp food safety training initiative, conducting another program for food handlers in Hyderabad following earlier efforts in Mumbai. The company reports training more than 60,000 food handlers nationwide to date, including over 4,000 partners certified under the FOSTAC framework associated with India’s Food Safety and Standards Authority.
These programs, run in collaboration with government bodies such as the Office of the Commissioner of Food Safety, FSSAI, and the Government of Telangana, are aimed at reinforcing daily food safety fundamentals. Such initiatives can reduce quality and compliance-related disruptions, strengthen regulatory relationships, and enhance brand trust in the grocery and food delivery segments.
On the consumer side, Zepto leveraged experiential marketing through a “Mango Paglu Party” event focused on carbide-free, farm-fresh mangoes and multiple premium varieties. The event featured collaborations with ITC Limited Sunfeast Baked Creations and Zepto Cafe, offering mango-based desserts, beverages, and snacks to showcase product quality and freshness.
By combining seasonal, themed engagement with co-branding, Zepto is working to deepen customer engagement and differentiate its fresh-produce proposition in a competitive quick-commerce landscape. While financial metrics were not disclosed, these efforts, together with strengthened legal and safety frameworks, position Zepto as a more governance-focused and quality-oriented player, supporting its long-term scaling prospects.
