Zarminali Pediatrics has raised $110 million in Series A financing to accelerate its build-out of a national, tech-enabled pediatric care platform that integrates primary, specialty, and urgent care under one infrastructure. The round, led by Healthier Capital with participation from existing backer General Catalyst and new investor K2 HealthVentures, brings the company’s total funding to $150 million since its 2024 launch. Zarminali currently operates 28 clinics across eight states and plans to open 15 de novo sites in 2026, targeting expansion into new metropolitan markets including Chicago, Milwaukee, and Dallas, while also onboarding additional established practice groups into its network. The capital will primarily fund rollout of Zarminali’s proprietary technology platform, development of clinics purpose-built for pediatric patients and families, and expansion of service lines beyond primary care.

The financing also adds strategic governance depth, as Healthier Capital’s CEO and Founding Managing Partner, Amir Dan Rubin—formerly CEO of Amazon One Medical—joins Zarminali’s board alongside representatives from General Catalyst and experienced healthcare operators. Founder and CEO Danish Qureshi, whose own experience navigating complex pediatric care informed the company’s mission, said the rapid growth underscores structural failures in U.S. pediatric healthcare and positions Zarminali’s family-centered, technology-enhanced model as a scalable solution. Backers describe Zarminali as building the digital, operational, and clinical backbone for a nationwide pediatric health system at a time when a 2025 JAMA study shows broad deterioration in children’s physical, mental, and developmental health metrics. With the new funding, Zarminali will broaden its offerings to include speech and occupational therapy, behavioral health, urgent care in select locations, and 24/7 telehealth access, aiming to drive higher care coordination, stronger continuity, and always-on access for families while creating a more efficient and sustainable model for pediatric clinicians and investors alike.
