Yarbo has validated demand for its next-generation yard robotics platform, with the newly launched M Series raising more than US$1 million on Kickstarter within two hours from over 200 backers, signaling strong early traction ahead of retail launch. Following its debut at CES 2026, the crowdfunding campaign, running from March 4 to April 20, positions the M Series as a modular, all-season system aimed at mainstream residential users rather than niche early adopters.
Built around a single core unit that supports interchangeable modules for mowing, trimming, leaf collection and snow clearing, the M Series is designed to replace multiple standalone outdoor machines, potentially increasing hardware attach rates and recurring revenue per household. Key performance features include easy, wire-free setup with automated mapping, terrain handling up to 35° slopes and 2-inch steps, towing capacity of around 220 lbs, and a high-power wireless charging solution that takes a 10 Ah battery from 10% to 90% in about 30 minutes, with additional battery options tailored to yard size and runtime. Co-founder and VP Kenneth Kohlmann said the campaign’s momentum marks a pivotal expansion of Yarbo’s “smart yard” vision into a broader consumer market, with early-backer pricing starting at $2,099 on Kickstarter, providing both market validation and an upfront capital injection to support production and scale.
