X-Energy Explores Nuclear Supply Chain Collaboration With Japan’s IHI Corporation

According to a recent LinkedIn post from X-Energy Reactor Company LLC, the company has entered into a collaboration agreement with Japan-based IHI Corporation, signed alongside the Indo-Pacific Energy Security Ministerial in Tokyo. The post indicates the parties plan to explore opportunities to apply IHI’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities to X-energy’s reported 11 GW commercial project pipeline.

The LinkedIn post suggests the collaboration is intended to support shared U.S.-Japan trade priorities and deepen cooperation in high-tech manufacturing related to advanced nuclear technologies.
