Wrapbook has introduced an $800,000 grant initiative aimed at attracting large film and television productions to shoot in the United States while deepening adoption of its AI-driven production finance platform. The program will award up to four grants of $200,000 each to qualifying projects, directly offsetting production costs and reinforcing Wrapbook’s role as a core infrastructure provider for payroll, spend, and accounting in the entertainment industry.

To qualify, productions must have a minimum total budget of $15 million, film domestically in the U.S., and commit to using Wrapbook for all payroll services throughout the project, effectively tying financial support to platform usage. CEO Ali Javid framed the initiative as both mission-driven and strategic, stating that the grants are designed to support the crews and production teams that underpin American film and television while making it easier for high-value projects to remain onshore rather than shifting abroad.

By linking eligibility to full-payroll adoption, Wrapbook is positioning the grant program as a customer acquisition and expansion lever among big-budget productions that can drive higher transaction volumes and deeper integration with studio finance workflows. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with awards going to projects that best align with Wrapbook’s objective of championing production activity across California and the broader U.S. market. The program complements Wrapbook’s existing backing from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, and WndrCo, and builds on a customer base that already includes major entertainment brands.

For executives and production finance leaders, the grants represent both a capital incentive and a potential catalyst to standardize on a single AI-enabled platform for payroll and production accounting. If fully subscribed, the initiative will inject close to $1 million into select U.S. productions while potentially generating long-term, recurring revenue streams for Wrapbook through ongoing service usage. Interested teams can apply via Wrapbook’s dedicated film grant page, positioning their projects to secure both direct financial support and a consolidated finance stack during production.
