WorkWhile has introduced the WorkWhile Certified Professional Program, putting its AI-powered labor platform at the center of hospitality staffing by pre-validating workers’ skills before they show up on site. Enabled by WorkWhile Coach—its AI talent agent—the system runs structured, role-specific dialogues with candidates to confirm operational knowledge such as food safety, core job duties, and service standards, aiming to reduce onboarding risk for employers.
The certification, embedded in the WorkWhile platform at no extra cost, targets a key cost driver for hospitality operators, who can spend about $2,700 per hire on recruiting, screening, and training and often suffer from inconsistent temp quality. The program currently covers server, line cook, prep cook, bartender, and dishwasher roles, and certified workers are already staffing venues across U.S. stadiums, convention centers, and university dining halls, with clients highlighting improved fill rates and staff quality; WorkWhile positions this capability as evidence-based validation of skills rather than résumé claims, reinforcing its strategy to differentiate on reliability and job-readiness in the flexible labor market.
