WIRobotics has secured KRW 95 billion (about USD 68 million) in Series B funding, roughly seven times its 2024 Series A round, to accelerate commercialization of its humanoid platform ALLEX and scale its core Physical AI technologies. The round, led by JB Investment with participation from existing institutional backers, positions the company to move from wearable robotics to integrated humanoid systems with a clear path toward mass production and global deployment.

The company plans to use the capital to validate its humanoid systems in industrial environments through a proof-of-concept with a global automaker, launch a research-focused humanoid platform this year, and target initial commercialization and mass-production readiness by late next year. WIRobotics will also expand its WIM wearable business—which has surpassed 3,000 cumulative units, entered Europe, China, Türkiye, and Japan, and more than doubled revenue annually from KRW 560 million in 2023 to KRW 2.79 billion in 2025—leveraging its movement data as a strategic asset for ALLEX, while establishing a North American base in California and deepening collaborations with NVIDIA, AWS, and global research institutions to support long-term growth in industrial and service robotics markets.
