The Charge Choice initiative features two tiers: Charge Choice Plus, which uses WeaveGrid’s platform to automatically schedule charging based on live grid signals, rates, and renewable availability, and Charge Choice, which rewards customers who manage their own off-peak charging. In both cases, WeaveGrid’s software operates in the background to optimize charging behavior for both drivers and the electric grid.

WeaveGrid is also powering Indiana Michigan Power’s Charge Sync Rewards program, another residential EV charging initiative that offers customers up to $8 per month, or $96 per year, for shifting charging to off-peak hours. Participants can choose Charge Sync Plus, leveraging automated scheduling based on grid conditions and electricity prices, or Charge Sync, which maintains manual control while still delivering incentives.

These utility collaborations highlight WeaveGrid’s growing commercial traction in regulated markets that are seeking demand-side management tools and EV load flexibility solutions. By embedding its platform in recurring utility programs, the company is deepening relationships with power providers and reinforcing its value proposition as a grid-optimization partner.

The focus on aligning charging with periods of lower demand and higher renewable generation positions WeaveGrid within broader trends in grid modernization and clean energy integration. Collectively, the week’s developments indicate continued expansion of WeaveGrid’s footprint in utility-backed managed charging programs and support a constructive outlook for its role in the evolving EV and grid-services ecosystem.
