Wayve Deepens Stellantis Alliance to Embed AI-Driven Autonomy Across Global Vehicle Platforms

New updates have been reported about Wayve.

Meet Samuel – Your Personal Investing Prophet

Wayve has entered a strategic technology partnership that will see its AI Driver software integrated into Stellantis’ STLA AutoDrive platform, positioning the U.K.-based autonomy specialist at the core of a major global automaker’s assisted driving roadmap. Building on Stellantis’ recent strategic investment, the deal gives Wayve a path to scale its mapless, hardware‑agnostic Embodied AI technology across multiple brands and segments, with first production deployment targeted in North America in 2028.

Under the agreement, Wayve’s end‑to‑end AI system will power supervised, hands‑free Level 2++ door‑to‑door driving, spanning both urban and highway conditions and designed to evolve toward more advanced automation as regulation and consumer acceptance allow. Wayve CEO Alex Kendall said the companies brought up a working prototype on Stellantis vehicles in under two months, underscoring the portability of Wayve’s software and its potential to reach millions of customers via Stellantis’ global manufacturing scale and shared STLA AutoDrive architecture.
