The company announced the completion of its QC61 data center campus in Montréal, marking the end of a development that began in January 2022 and concluded with all phases delivered by December 2025. The project involved nearly 300,000 safe work hours across phases 2–4 and highlighted collaboration with multiple construction, vendor, and consulting partners. Vantage emphasizes QC61 as a long-term infrastructure asset intended to serve enterprise and cloud customers in Québec and the broader Montréal technology ecosystem.
For investors, the completion of QC61 signals an expansion of Vantage Data Centers’ capacity in a key North American market known for relatively low-cost, hydro-powered electricity and growing demand for cloud and AI-related workloads. Bringing the campus fully online should enable the company to convert development capital into revenue-generating assets, improve operating leverage, and potentially enhance contracted recurring revenue through long-term customer agreements typical in the data center sector. The demonstrated ability to deliver a multi-year, multi-phase project with a strong safety record may also strengthen Vantage’s competitive position when bidding for hyperscale and enterprise deployments, and could support future financing or expansion initiatives in the region.
