A key development is the full completion and handover of the QC61 data center campus in Montréal, a multi-phase project launched in January 2022 and delivered by December 2025. Situated in a region known for competitively priced, hydro-powered electricity, the campus is positioned to support enterprise and cloud customers across Québec and the broader Montréal technology ecosystem, particularly as AI and cloud workloads expand. The project involved nearly 300,000 safe work hours in its later phases and relied on extensive collaboration with construction, vendor, and consulting partners, highlighting Vanta’s ability to manage complex builds with a strong safety record. With QC61 now operational, development capital is converted into revenue-generating capacity, improving operating leverage and supporting long-term, contract-based recurring revenue typical of hyperscale and colocation models.

Vanta also emphasized its strategic focus on power availability, a critical factor for hyperscale growth, through a previously announced partnership with Liberty Energy. The agreement secures up to 1GW of utility-scale, high-efficiency power solutions over the next five years, including 400MW of generation capacity expected to be available in 2027 and potential expansion beyond 1GW. This long-term power arrangement is designed to mitigate constraints in capacity-limited markets, enhance visibility into future expansion plans, and help manage power price volatility, thereby supporting more predictable economics as AI and cloud demand accelerate.

On the social and workforce development front, Vanta engaged with the Rocket Academy Dual Credit Advanced Technology Center in Cedar Grove, Wisconsin, by hosting a Mock Interview Day for 40 students. Multiple team members participated, providing students with practical interview experience and confidence-building feedback. While not directly revenue-generating, this initiative supports Vanta’s employer brand, contributes to local talent pipeline development in a technically demanding industry, and aligns with broader ESG and community relations objectives.

Overall, the week’s developments indicate that Vanta continues to strengthen its infrastructure footprint, secure critical power resources, and invest in community and workforce initiatives, collectively reinforcing its positioning to serve growing cloud and AI data infrastructure needs over the long term.
