Upscale AI is expanding its role in AI data center infrastructure with plans to launch open, scale-out Ethernet systems built on NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet switch silicon and its own AI-optimized SONiC software, targeting operators that need low-latency, interoperable fabrics for heterogeneous AI workloads. By joining the NVIDIA Partner Network and collaborating on reference architectures and validated designs, the company positions itself as a pure-play, AI-native networking provider for large-scale, multi-vendor AI clusters.

The upcoming Spectrum-X-based systems will be delivered as fully supported, end-to-end offerings that integrate hardware, an enterprise-grade SONiC network operating system, ASIC-native telemetry, and lifecycle services to simplify deployment and operations while providing deterministic, lossless Ethernet behavior at scale. Upscale AI expects to bring these systems to market later this year for AI data centers seeking open, production-grade infrastructure, with CEO Barun Kar emphasizing that pairing NVIDIA’s Ethernet silicon with Upscale’s purpose-built stack aims to combine high performance with operational simplicity and long-term scalability for heterogeneous AI environments.
