Truveta has strengthened its health-system-led governance model by appointing Erik Wexler, President and CEO of Providence, to its Board of Directors as Providence’s representative and successor to former Providence CEO Rod Hochman, M.D., who had served as Truveta’s Board Chair since 2024 and was instrumental in the company’s formation and early growth. The move, which follows the recent elevation of Robin Damschroder, FACHE, to Chair of the Board, is designed to maintain strategic continuity with a founding member while supporting Truveta’s expansion across healthcare, life sciences, government, and research customers.
CEO and Co-founder Terry Myerson highlighted Wexler’s track record leading one of the nation’s largest health systems, citing his experience in operations, strategy, and data-driven transformation as critical to scaling Truveta’s real-world data platform and regulatory-grade evidence offerings. Wexler, who oversees Providence’s extensive health system across the western United States, emphasized that Truveta’s model of aligning health systems, life sciences, government, and academia has the potential to materially change how care is delivered for diverse patient populations and to deepen the value generated for member organizations and their communities.
