According to the post, Digital Master, developed with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye and the Habitat Association, aims to boost SMEs’ and tradespeople’s digital skills to increase participation in e-commerce. Villages of Tomorrow, undertaken with UNDP Türkiye, focuses on supporting local production and sustainable development in rural areas.
The post suggests that these awards may enhance Trendyol’s brand equity among small businesses, rural stakeholders and policymakers, potentially strengthening its ecosystem position in Turkish e-commerce. Greater engagement with SMEs and rural producers could expand the company’s seller base and product diversity over time, which may support longer-term growth despite the primarily reputational nature of this recognition.
