TransPerfect has released its 2026 Business Outlook Report, positioning AI as foundational infrastructure for global content operations rather than an experimental tool. Based on a survey of 96 enterprise leaders in operations, marketing, localization, and IT, the GlobalLink Technology Group finds that 74% of respondents rank AI strategies and automation as a top priority for 2026, while 65% already integrate AI or machine-assisted translation into localization workflows.
The report underscores a tightening operating environment, with 40% of organizations expecting flat localization budgets even as leadership demands higher throughput, greater personalization, and shorter time-to-market. TransPerfect highlights that companies gaining the most value have centralized workflows, combined AI with human expertise, and established governance frameworks to scale AI responsibly, yet one in four firms still fail to measure the business impact of multilingual content on metrics such as conversion, engagement, and speed. President and Co-CEO Phil Shawe notes that clients have largely moved beyond pilots and are now implementing AI solutions enterprise-wide, and the report offers guidance on scaling AI, optimizing constrained budgets, closing measurement gaps, and building cross-functional alignment to turn multilingual content into a competitive advantage for global businesses.
