The work finds that model families like GPT, Llama, DeepSeek, and Qwen exhibit distinct and stable “knowledge priors” or behavioral fingerprints—GPT defaulting to code and math, Llama to narrative content, DeepSeek to religious material, and Qwen to exam-style questions. These tendencies persist across different prompting conditions and even in low-quality or seemingly nonsensical text. The research also surfaces potential privacy concerns, including references to real social media accounts, highlighting risks when models generate unconstrained content. Together AI is using this line of work to emphasize its focus on safety, interpretability, and monitoring, which are increasingly important for enterprises and regulators.

On the product side, Together AI promoted “Together Evaluations,” a platform for systematically benchmarking LLMs across open-source, proprietary, and fine-tuned models. The tool is positioned to help teams compare models side by side, determine when prompt engineering is sufficient versus when fine-tuning is warranted, and track quality over time via reproducible evaluations. This evaluation layer supports cost optimization and could deepen customer lock-in by embedding evaluation datasets and historical metrics into the platform, while reinforcing Together AI’s role as a broader infrastructure and workflow provider rather than solely a model host.

The company also expanded its real-time voice capabilities by adding Rime Arcana V3 and V3 Turbo text-to-speech models to its Dedicated Endpoints. These models provide multilingual and code-switching support, with V3 covering 11 languages and V3 Turbo optimized for low-latency use cases, including English-Spanish real-time agents. Together AI underscores enterprise-grade reliability with a 99.9% SLA and compliance features such as SOC 2, HIPAA readiness, and PCI compliance, complemented by co-location with LLMs and speech-to-text services to support end-to-end global voice applications.

Strategically, Together AI is also bolstering its infrastructure leadership. The company announced that former infrastructure executive Alon Gavrielov is joining to guide strategy as it scales its AI Native Cloud, which already serves more than one million developers and customers including Cursor, Decagon, and ElevenLabs. Plans to build out “AI factories” with gigawatt-level capacity across multiple sites point to an aggressive expansion of compute and data-center resources, aimed at meeting rising AI workload demand and competing more directly with hyperscale infrastructure providers.

Collectively, the week’s developments show Together AI deepening its technical capabilities and research credentials while expanding its product portfolio and infrastructure leadership, positioning the company to address safety-conscious, performance-critical enterprise AI use cases and support continued platform adoption over the long term.
