Teleport, the AI infrastructure identity specialist, has been named to the Citizens Securities 2026 Cyber 66 list, signaling growing market validation for its strategy of making identity the control plane for AI-era security. The associated Citizens research, which surveyed executives across all 66 private cyber companies, found that 73% of cybersecurity leaders already face enterprise demand to secure AI agents, with identity cited as the leading pain point and identity providers seen as best positioned to govern rapidly proliferating non-human agents.
Teleport is positioning its Infrastructure Identity Platform as a replacement for fragmented identity and access management and static credentials, using cryptographic identity to deliver ephemeral, least-privilege access across cloud and on-premises assets. CEO Ev Kontsevoy argues that enterprises that centralize on a unified identity foundation will be better able to govern and scale AI than organizations relying on stitched-together, siloed access tools, which he says leave them both exposed and operationally constrained. Recent product updates include AI Session Summaries, a secure implementation of the Model Context Protocol, and an Agentic Identity Framework designed for safe AI agent deployment, and Teleport was flagged in the Cyber 66 report as a revenue “mover,” underscoring ongoing commercial momentum and reinforcing its positioning as a core enabler of secure AI adoption.
