STONfi – Weekly Recap

STONfi, a decentralized exchange on The Open Network (TON), spent the week spotlighting ecosystem-building efforts across user education and developer engagement. The company promoted an April 23 livestream with Arculus wallet focused on secure DeFi onboarding, self-custody practices, and avoiding common wallet-connection errors for new TON users.

The Arculus collaboration emphasizes security and usability, highlighting a non-custodial wallet that combines an app, physical card, and three-factor authentication, integrated with TON via WalletConnect. The session is designed to show participants how to use Arculus to access STONfi for token swaps and liquidity provision while retaining full control of their assets.

STONfi is pairing education with community incentives, including a 150 STON reward pool for quiz-style engagement on X and a promotional $20 discount on Arculus hardware wallets. These mechanics are intended to deepen community interaction, raise awareness of STON tokens, and encourage users to experiment with TON DeFi in a more secure setup.

On the developer side, STONfi concluded its STON.fi Vibe Coding Hackathon, a five-day event focused on AI-assisted applications on the TON blockchain. More than 200 applications led to 25 selected participants and 18 valid submissions competing across different tracks, underscoring growing developer interest around STONfi’s tools.

Winning projects included SAGE, a conversational AI agent for interacting with TON DeFi, and StonMaster, designed to optimize jetton conversions and integrate liquid staking and social features. Other highlighted projects such as TableTab, Omniswap, and YieldPay explore payments, smart aggregation, and yield-based subscription models that could broaden practical use cases in the TON ecosystem.

From an investor perspective, these initiatives reflect a deliberate ecosystem-building strategy rather than direct revenue announcements. By fostering wallet integrations, educational content, and third-party apps connected to its routing and staking tools, STONfi aims to increase transaction flow and strengthen network effects over time.

The mention of future hackathons and ongoing educational campaigns suggests STONfi is working to secure a central role within TON DeFi infrastructure. Overall, the week underscored the company’s focus on security-aware user growth and developer-led innovation, positioning STONfi for potentially stronger long-term relevance in the TON ecosystem.
