STACK Infrastructure Expands Toronto Data Center Campus With 48MW Capacity Addition

STACK Infrastructure has shared an update. The company announced the next phase of its established Toronto data center campus, which will add 48MW of critical capacity, with the first 24MW scheduled to come online in the third quarter of 2028. The campus will draw on committed power from three diverse substations and is located less than seven miles from 151 Front Street, Toronto’s primary interconnection hub. The company also noted that inquiries for the site are at an all-time high.

For investors, this expansion signals a long-term capacity growth initiative in a key North American market with strong demand for data center and digital infrastructure services, including cloud and AI workloads. The phased delivery timeline through 2028 suggests a multi‑year capital expenditure program that could weigh on near-term cash flows but support higher recurring revenue once capacity is leased and operational. Proximity to 151 Front Street and access to diverse, committed power should enhance the competitiveness of the campus for hyperscalers and enterprise customers, potentially improving utilization rates and pricing power. Elevated inquiry levels, if converted to contracts, would help de‑risk the development pipeline and provide greater revenue visibility, strengthening STACK Infrastructure’s position in the Toronto data center market and supporting its broader industry standing as demand for scalable, well‑connected capacity continues to rise.
